My little guy turned 2 yesterday and he loves animals, especially "eh-ehs" (elephants). He was so excited when he saw the cake, it was difficult to convince him to keep his hands off until we could sing to him. 9" round Strawberry-Coconut cake, made using fresh strawberries in the batter. Filled with strawberry preserves and whipped cream cheese filling, iced with whipped buttercream. The jungle animals are hand painted using melted chocolate. Stay tuned for his birthday party cake this weekend which will feature his other love: Sesame Street characters.
