I made this cake for a dear friend's Bridal Shower. The cake is a 10" square chocolate cake with cookies and (bride-to-be's favorite) cream filling, frosted in buttercream. The wedding dress and flowers are made from fondant, the lace accents on the bodice are hand piped with buttercream. Although it is difficult to see in this photo, the skirt is brushed with luster dust which gives it a satiny finish.
